An agency may temporarily withhold it when access would adversely affect an active investigation. Minnesota VINE is useful for county custody events and alerts, but the research does not establish it as an enduring Pennington County photo archive. Court records can explain disposition and expungement. They are not the routine source for the Sheriff's booking image.

Minn. Stat. §13.03 makes inspection of public data free. For 100 or fewer black-and-white letter or legal pages, the statutory maximum is 25 cents per page. Pennington DOC Photo Records

Corrections and security classifications may lead to redaction or withholding under Minnesota law. Ask DOC to classify and answer the request. Do not promise that every state image will be released. Pennington Release Photos in News
